CLEVELAND, Ga. (January 28, 2025) – Berg Racing is thrilled to announce the signing of two exceptional drivers for the upcoming 2025 Ligier JS F4 Series season. Harbir Dass, hailing from Solon, Ohio, and Drew Szuch, from St. Charles, Ill., will be joining the Berg Racing team, bringing their skill, determination, and passion to the track
Dass and Szuch share many traits, both being engineering students, Dass in his second year of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Szuch in his second year of Motorsports Engineering at Purdue Indianapolis. Both are entering into their second season of formula car racing, having made their debut in the highly competitive JS F4 Series in 2024, capturing a handful of podiums between them. Both share a commitment to excellence and drive to succeed making them valuable assets to Berg Racing.
“I’m excited to have Berg Racing expand to be a two-car team this season,” said Race Director Scott Goodyear. “Allen has a wealth of experience, both as an owner and a driver, dating back to his time racing in F1. I believe that both Harbir [Dass] and Drew [Szuch] will be contenders throughout the season, for both race wins and for the Ligier JS F4 Series championship.”
Dass, who returns to Berg Racing in 2025, has developed a strong technical acumen and continually improved throughout the 2024 season. Earning a reputation as a fierce competitor, he looks to capitalize on key learnings from 2024.
“I’m excited to be a part of the Berg Racing team again this year for JS F4,” Harbir commented. “I’m especially excited to have a teammate, as well, with Drew Szuch joining us. Let’s get it!”
Szuch, who is a new addition to Berg Racing in 2025 after campaigning for Szuch Racing in 2024, has consistently delivered outstanding performances, showcasing his speed and potential.
“I’m very thankful for the opportunity to race alongside my friends at Berg Racing, and I can’t wait to get on track with the team,” said Szuch. “It’s great to be backed by the experience and knowledge within the Berg Racing family. I’m confident that, along with Harbir, we can carry our momentum toward a strong season in 2025. Let’s have a great year!”
With the addition of Dass and Szuch, Berg Racing is poised to make a significant impact in the 2025 Ligier JS F4 Series.

Alex Berg, co-owner of Berg Racing and F4 race winner in F4 U.S. and British F4, adds, “Having co-driven with Drew and Harbir in an endurance race at Berg Racing’s home track of Road Atlanta, as well as having coached Harbir at two F4 U.S. races where we were able to achieve podiums together, I know that we are all friends sharing the same objectives and will be tight knit and formidable presence in the JS F4 Series this season.”
In a message to the drivers, Team Engineer Stefan Dwornik, who has had an ongoing friendship with the Bergs for over 20 years, commented. “Moving up to a two-car team is a big step forward for Berg Racing, and it’s something that I’m looking forward to. We have two sophomore drivers who know most of the tracks and cars already. I am looking forward to working with both of you and digging into the details to see which parts of each track you will be quicker at. In preseason testing, there will be systems that we will be going through, like getting up to speed quickly on the outlap, standing starts, tire management, and a really big one will be learning how to work together using the draft. I’m looking forward to getting the best out of our two future stars.”
