Drivers who wish to compete in the JS F4 series must first apply for a license from Parella Motorsports Holdings.

All drivers must include a racing resume, using the License Application Racing Resume form included in the Driver Packet. This form should include all previous racing and driving experience. Drivers who have previously raced in F4 U.S. are not required to submit a resume.

All drivers are required to submit the physical examination paperwork with their application.

To qualify for a JS F4 license, preference will be given to drivers who have attended an accredited racing school (i.e. Radford Racing School or other National Schools), have competed in a school racing series, raced in another amateur racing series, or who have competed at a high level of kart racing, and who have successfully tested with a JS F4 team with a positive reference by the team owner.

All applications will be reviewed by the Race Director and/or Series Officials for approval.

The Ligier JS F4 Series is open to drivers ages 15 and up. Drivers 14 years of age may be approved on a case-by-case basis. There may be some circumstances (e.g. drivers 14 years of age) when a driver is issued a provisional license to compete in the series under observation by the Race Director and Series Officials.
