Welcome to the Ligier Junior Formula Championship 2026 season!
Below we outline all you need to know to kick your season off on the right foot. Please read the entire page before beginning the registration process.
There has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes the last few months, as we move to MotorsportReg for our 2026 Registration Platform. The first goal is to become a little bit less paper-intensive. Therefore, starting in 2026, we are rolling out the Vehicle Registration and application forms for the Competition License and Annual Credential processes via web forms instead of paper. There are still some supporting paper forms to be completed (like the Medical Form, Prize Money Authorization, and Tax Forms), but we are making the first strides to move digital.
Even if you’ve been involved in one or more of the Series for several years, please read and follow the Entrant Checklist (linked below) to get off on the right foot. Completion of these processes prior to the NOLA Test Days (or your first event) will be much appreciated and the entrant checklist gives you a road map to ‘get it right the first time’ with all the registration paperwork.

- To complete your vehicle registration, please click the “Register Now” button and sign into your MotorsportReg account. If you don’t already have an account, please follow the steps under “Sign up for MotorsportReg.”
- All cars competing in the Series must have a completed Vehicle Registration. Team managers, please note that you will need to register *ALL* your cars at the same time. (Instructions are on Page 1 of the Entrant Checklist.)
- If you are a returning driver/team owner/team manager wishing to retain the number you used in 2025, please complete the Vehicle Registration(s) no later than March 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM CST. (Note: Racing America has sole discretion on assigning numbers. Prior year numbers are set aside for the teams that used them in 2025 until March 3, 2026 unless assigned by Racing America for commercial purposes. Completed vehicle registrations must be submitted by that date to retain the same number as the year before. After that time, numbers will be available on a first-come first-served basis.)
Driver Registration:
Next, is the Competition License Application. All drivers are required to be licensed each year, and must apply for a Competition License via the new online web form in 2026. Please read & follow Page 2 of the 2026 Entrant Checklist for instructions on how to complete this registration.
