AUSTIN, Texas (October 31, 2024) – With the Ligier JS F4 Series (JS F4) championship on the line, rivals Kekai Hauanio and Teddy Musella were neck and neck on the speed charts during Thursday’s sole practice session at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). Hauanio (No. 29 N.E.Where Transportation / New’T Racing Ligier JS F4) and Musella (No. 25 Scuderia Buell Ligier JS F4) have been in a tight battle all season—each with nine podiums—and now just 4.5 points separate the two drivers heading into this weekend’s season finale.
Setting a fast lap of 2:15.469, Hauanio held just a 0.074-second advantage over Musella. Behind them, Leonardo Escorpioni (No. 26 Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4) and his Champagne Racing team, both making their series debut, were ranked third with a 2:16.319 lap.
