Teddy Musella Earns the Pole at Road America

Brad Majman Tops the Practice Leaderboard

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (May 17, 2024) – Teddy Musella (No. 25 Scuderia Buell Ligier JS F4) topped the leaderboard at Road America to earn his third Ligier JS F4 Series pole of the season. The 14 year old already has two wins in the series’ opening three races—including a win from the pole in Race 1 at NOLA Motorsports Park last month. With a 2:19.173 lap time, Musella edged out Brad Majman (No. 95 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F4) by 0.25-seconds for the pole. Coming off a career-best weekend at the season opener, which included two podium finishes, Bacon Zelenka (No. 45 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F4) qualified third, followed by Drew Szuch (No. 28 Szuch Racing Ligier JS F4), whose family-owned team fought back from some mechanical issues experienced during testing last weekend. Christopher Parrish (No. 83 Save22 Ligier JS F4), who is running double duty this weekend while also racing at Dirt City Motorplex with Championship Off-Road’s Pro Lite class, qualified fifth.

In a very competitive field, the top-seven qualifiers were all within one second of the leader, including Maite Cáceres (No. 6 Abitab / Supermatch Ligier JS F4) who qualified sixth, and Kekai Hauanio (No. 29 N.E.Where Transportation / New’T Racing Ligier JS F4) who placed seventh.
