Teddy Musella Takes JS F4 Pole at COTA

AUSTIN, Texas (October 31, 2024) – Racing for the championship, Teddy Musella took the pole in the Ligier JS F4 Series (JS F4) at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on Thursday afternoon. The accomplishment marks a continuation of the fierce battle underway between Musella (No. 25 Scuderia Buell Ligier JS F4) and Kekai Hauanio (No. 29 N.E.Where Transportation / New’T Racing Ligier JS F4), who entered the weekend separated by just 4.5 points with the championship title on the line. 

Musella logged a 2:14.849 lap, becoming the only driver to break into the 2:14 bracket and giving him the pole with a 0.569-second advantage. Sacha van’t Pad Bosch (No. 27 Scuderia Buell Ligier JS F4) is set to line up next to Musella on the starting grid after recording a 2:15.418 lap during his debut weekend. Another new driver, Leonardo Escorpioni (No. 26 Champagne Racing Ligier JS F4) was third on the speed chart. Points leader Hauanio was fourth, and Bacon Zelenka (No. 45 Bacon Racing Ligier JS F4) rounded out the top five.
