AVONDALE, La. (April 13, 2024) – Qualifying is complete for the Ligier JS F4 Series (Ligier JS F4) and rookie driver Teddy Musella (No. 25 Scuderia Buell Ligier JS F4) has captured the pole for the season-opening NOLA SpeedTour at NOLA Motorsports Park. With a 1:41.980 lap, Musella had the competition hot in his tracks with the top six drivers all within one second of the polesitter.
Back for a sophomore season, Kekai Hauanio (No. 29 N.E.Where Transportation / New’T Racing Ligier JS F4) and Bacon Zelenka (No. 45 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F4) qualified second and third, respectively. Pablo Benites Jr. (No. 44 Scuderia Buell Ligier JS F4) and Daniel Quimby (No. 24 Cruise America/MIR Raceline/FIJI Airways/GalvanizeIns Ligier JS F4) rounded out the top five.

Ligier JS F4 hits the track later today for Races 1 and 2. Lights out for Race 1 is scheduled at 11:25 a.m. CT, with Race 2 to follow at 5:05 p.m. CT. Tickets for the weekend are available on SpeedTour.net/NOLA. Kids ages 12 and under, as well as active-duty military, police and fire with a valid military or work ID, are admitted free. Fans can meet the drivers of Ligier JS F4 and FR Americas during an autograph session in the NOLA Events Center at 1:45 p.m. CT.
